Bacterial Vaginosis Causes, Not the Symptoms, Need to Be Focused On

Bacterial vaginosis causes seem to be the one thing that modern allopathic medicine keeps missing the mark with, in the many methods and techniques it deploys in treating this condition. It seems rather clear that to attack something at its cause would then eliminate all of the symptoms altogether as well, does not it? Then why does not modern allopathic medicine approach things like this in such a way? Strange, do not you think? But as for the means in which modern medicine treats bacterial vaginosis, causes just are not in its itinerary. It only seeks to eliminate the symptoms, and quite often, in a way that seems just far too much like overkill. Allow me to shed more light on what I mean here…

See, whatever we have tried over the counter, is pretty much what we will first get from our gynecologist, but in prescription strengths. The thing is, these, and what’s to follow, can seem to do the trick for the most part, but only temporarily. It invariably returns to plague us, very often after our next menstrual cycle, or even after the next time we engage in sexual intercourse. Once all of these methods fail (as they invariably do) to completely eliminate this condition at the causes of bacterial vaginosis, the next step is most often the use of antibiotics.

We should go on with this post. These kill off everything – the harmful bacteria, but also the good kind which we’ve born into our bodies that act as our natural defenses. Without these to stave off foreign germs, bacteria and viruses, the result is the unhindered return as it comes back full force and with a vengeance. What’s the next step? More antibiotics prescribed in even larger strengths. When does this insanity stop? This is why it is much more prudent to turn to Mother Nature, and her herbal medicines. With these, there are not any side effects to be had, and the bacterial vaginosis causes, not merely the symptoms, are attacked directly. What’s the result? Complete elimination, no recurrences, and an absolute cure, plain and simple. In the end, isn’t that nice of Mother Nature? She always did kIn the end best, did not she?

My boyfriend causes my bacterial vaginosis!? Ever since I met my current partner nine months ago I’ve continuously been plagued with bacterial vaginosis! Every month was the same – a course of antibiotics followed by a week of a 'normal' vagina, followed by a gradual increase of that horrible fishy smell as soon as I stopped my treatment and we continued to have sex !! This really started to cause problems with me and my boyfriend – i didn't want to have sex because I was embarrassed about the smell and we started arguing. This was extremely difficult for me and made me cry alot and contemplate whether or not the relationship was worth all this anxiety on my part. After about the 7th time of having BV, my nurse told me that we had 'incompatible' fluids and that when his semen came into contact with my vagina it caused my PH balance to be disturbed – thus resulting in BV!! So whats the cure for this? Will my vagina eventually become accustomed to his semen? Do I’ve to just keep going through this for ever? I don't want to split up with my boyfriend – but sex shouldn't cause this much misery!! Its supposed to be something to enjoy – not dread !! Of corse there are condoms, but I really dont want to have to take such precausions with my boyfriend – we should be able to enjoy unprotected sex as much as any other loving serious couple. Id like to hear from anyone who has ever had a similar problem and also if anyone has ever heard of any sort of male treatment for BV??

Has any ladies got bacterial vaginosis from sperm ejaculation or fluids that come from the male? I know that various things can mess up the ph of the vagina but has anyone ever experienced getting BV after sexual intercourse because of the fluids (semen, sperm, or just fluids) that come out of the penis. I'm not talking about STDs both people are disease free. What did you do for this issue. I mean if this is your monogamus partner or spouse you dont want to use condoms for the rest of your marriage or relationship.

You can get bacterial vaginosis from having sex. The exact cause of BV is not known though. Doctors still have a problem figuring that one out. Some people confuse BV as an STD because you can get BV from having sex. I think that any bacteria on the penis can stay inside of the vagina and mess with the PH levels and I also think sperm might change the levels of bacteria as well. Douching and antibiotics can also contribute to BV. If you’re using lubrication you might want to switch brands. Don't douche either please because that will just make things worse. I'm not saying your partner is dirty but have him wash himself off before you guys have sex and make sure you clean up before and after having sex. Yogurt is not proven to help or prevent BV but it's worth a shot. BV is tricky sometimes. If you have it and you haven't seen your doctor for antibiotics you should go and get looked at. They usually give you an antibiotic gel that's inserted into the vagina when you go to bed. It's the only way to clear it out of your system. **Actually, yes, sperm can create an odor when it's mixed with vaginal fluids. Lots of women have complained about that. Are you sure it's not just that happening after sex? It could just be that especially if the odor disappears after a while! I mean, BV just doesn't clear up on its own.

Any time a foreign object (a penis) is introduced into the vagina it carries bacteria with it. You can get BV from sex just because it introduces bacteria into the vagina – not necessarily from the sperm or fluids. It helps to eat yogurt to keep the good bacterial balance. If the good ones outnumber the bad one, the good bacteria usually win out and thrive.
