Being diagnosed with BV is a big deal. The only thing you’ll want to do is find a fast treatment for bacterial vaginosis that will get rid of it as quickly as possible.
First StepsThe first thing to do if you suspect that you have BV is to confirm it with your doctor. Because vaginal conditions can have similar symptoms to each other, it’s vital to know exactly what you have so that you can treat it properly.
AntibioticsYour doctor will prescribe antibiotics to remove the bacteria that’s causing the problem. This will start working immediately.
This may easily be very important section of this issue. Home Treatments for Vaginal BacteriosisAfter your initial course of antibiotics it’s now time to consider a long term treatment and prevention plan. You don’t want your BV to come back again, but the sad reality is that it does return for many women.
Why does this happen?
Research shows that antibiotics do a good job of getting rid of the nasty BV bacteria, but unfortunately it removes all the other bacteria that you need!
The result of this interruption of normal vaginal flora activity is that the bad bacteria can now flourish and before you know it, bacteria vaginosis has returned.
Long Term Preventionthat’s why coming up with a natural prevention plan is vital. You shouldn’t rely on antibiotics to remove BV every single time because this can lead to yeast infections and other more serious and irritating conditions that are even harder to get rid of.
Finding a fast and natural treatment for bacteria vaginosis that focuses on prevention is the best way to ward off this pesky yet easily curable condition.

I got Bacterial Vaginosis in the hospital? I went in the hospital on Sunday night for shortness of breath. I had a CAT scan done and turned out I had two blood clots in my lungs from my birth control. I was admitted and was given Heprin shots and Cloumadin pills to thin out my blood, these started early Monday morning. Late monday evening I noticed the strong odor and I had the lotion like discharge, I knew exactly what it was since I had it once before. The OB came in and said I had BV and started me on Flagyl. My question is did the CAT scan dye cause BV (because the dye felt warm throughout my body and made me feel like I had to urinate on myself) or could the blood thinner have caused it. Has CAT scann dye been known to alter the ph in your body? I'm hoping it[s not from the blood thinners b/c I'm going to be on them for six months. Thanks everyone!!!!

I doubt it was from that. There are many things that can cause BV. I just got over it myself and mine was caused by taking bubble baths. You can also get it by using a douch, an IUD, having multiple sex partners or a new sex partner, there are more but I can't think of them right now.

If the male can transmit the bacteria, have him get tested. If you suspect he still get “some” on the side and some other skank gave it to him, dump him.
