There are some subjects that nobody wants to talk about. For example, most people don’t want to talk about bad breath as both men and women are both self-conscious of this. There are a long list of other things that are sort of taboo.
Probably chief amongst all of these issues, for women has to do with a bad smelling vaginal discharge. Really, there is no need to be ashamed of this issue as almost everyone goes through this from time to time. It’s not uncommon. Fortunately, there are some good home remedies for a bad smelling vaginal discharge. Let’s take a look at some of these.
Be sure to understand this particular blog post cautiously, the issue and the alternatives have more than a few versions. 1. Make sure that you’re detailed in paying attention to your private area when taking a shower. This sounds like an obvious suggestion yet it’s the number one reason why women have a bad smell down there. There is nothing that can be done about the actual discharge but how you clean up and maintain yourself has everything to do with how it is going to smell. Make sure that you get under all the folds and diligently use soap on a washcloth to get to the hard to reach areas. You’d be surprised at how many times there are little areas that are difficult to reach and go ignored and this is the ultimate source for such a smell. A word of caution: Make sure that you don’t rub so hard that you cause bleeding or inflammation in that area.

2. Another reason why some women struggle with a bad smelling vaginal discharge is related to the fact that they don’t douche on a regular basis. Some people are vehemently against using a douche and that’s understandable but for those that aren’t opposed to it make sure that you do it on a consistent basis as this will really help you out. If you’re opposed to putting chemicals inside your body then there are some good natural remedies such as vinegar concoctions as well as many others.
3. Change your underwear frequently. This is especially true for that time of the month. When you do have a discharge is important that you not only clean up the area but also put the dirty underwear into the hamper and change as often as needed. Once again this is an area where a lot of women make the mistake of cleaning up down there but putting on the same pair of underwear afterward.
There are a number of home remedies for a bad smelling vaginal discharge but the aforementioned suggestions even though they may seem obvious are often those that are most neglected. In some cases, a foul smell in that area can be an indication of a larger medical issue and if you suspect that this is the case then consult with a Medical Doctor as soon as possible to get a proper diagnosis.

What causes excessive vaginal discharge? I've have randomly started to have excessive vaginal discharge about a week ago. My period has ended about 2 weeks ago and I’ven't had sex at all whatsoever and definitely not sexually active, I'm still a virgin. It doesn't itch, burn, or anything, just a lot of discharge. Sometimes it's clear sometimes it's white, and a little sticky. It doesn't smell horribly either. Of course, it causes a wet feeling and all, but I'm not sure what it’s. I don't have a gynecologist, and I'm not quite sure when the last time I've even been to the doctors, so I’ven't had recent check-ups either. Also, I'm 18, or about to be.

First its important to understand that all women experience some amount of vaginal discharge. Glands in your vaginal and cervix produce small amounts of fluid that flows out of your vagina everyday taking with it old cells that line the vagina. Your normal vaginal discharge helps to clean the vagina, as well as keep it lubricated and free from infection and other germs. A normal vaginal discharge doesn’t have a foul odor and usually has no odor at all. Normal vaginal discharge often appears clear or milky when it dries on your clothing; occasionally you may notice white spots or a normal vaginal discharge that’s thin and stringy looking. Other things that may cause changes in the appearance or consistency of your vaginal discharge include: Your menstrual cycle Emotional stress Any prescribed or over the counter medications you take Sexual excitement Ovulation Your diet Other things that can upset the natural pH balance of your vagina and lead to vaginal infections include vaginal douches, feminine hygiene products, perfumed or deodorant soaps, antibiotics, diabetes, or the presence of another infection. PS: Don't completely rule out a yeast infection just because it's not itching or burning. Also check the smell of the discharge. Does it smell bread-y and looks a bit like cottage cheese? Then it’s more likely to be a yeast infection OR another kind of infection and should be checked out by a doctor.

Hi, well this doesn't sound like thrush, as it doesn't smell, and your vagina doesn't itch. I don't think you should be worried about this. It’s the natural vaginal-cleaning process, and is very common. I myself experience it. With some it’s heavier and others lighter. If it feels very wet, I'd recommend wearing panty-liners. These should prevent stains on your underwear and soak up some of the fluids. If you start experiencing abnormal pains, or if it begins to reek (a bit of smell is normal), or if you get big chunks, I'd recommend seeing the Gyno. Hope this helps

I was a virgin until I was nineteen and I had the same thing as you from time to time. I honestly believe it’s just your lady lube getting all gunked up from time to time. I’ve never had any problems. If you masturbate then I say its def just your lady lube. And honestly I’m not being condescending, but I'm so happy to hear there are still eightteen year old virgins
I still wish I was a virgin.
Always call the doctor if you have any concerns. No 2 people are the same with pregnancy and the doctor can evaluate you wife's situation. The color sounds like it needs a doctors opionon, but just to give you a little piece of mind I had a lot of discharge off and on during my last pregnancy (which was last year) and I had almost no problems with the pregnancy, just the normal morning sickness, etc.

It could be a yeast infection or bacterial vaginosis. After you get this cleared up, you can take a natural supplement called acidophulis. That will even out your ph balance in your body. Or you can eat 2 yogurts per day.
