What vaginal discharge the has an onion odor? I had this during my last pregnancy, anyone have a clue what would cause an onion smelling discharge? Its like onion/garlic like, went to doc today, they said they didn't think I had an infection, but its strong(maybe my nose is sensitive) could they’ve over looked an infection? They didn't run any tests, just did a pelvic exam. I’ve had it since I lost my mucus plug a week or so ago… And it seems to be getting worse. Also I was having steady hard contractions all day and night…. The doc said nothing about these.. Except that if they get close again to get to the hospital(I’ve always found these doctors to lack some basic intelligence when it comes to pregnancy, maybe old schooling or something…, but I must see someone and I’m limited on who could see me since im in a rural area) So… I must ask you folks, hope it gives me a clue, its not urinary its vaginal discharge… White/green, yummy! Btw this is my 5th kiddo, im about thirty-five weeks. Haven't had any complications that I know of.

Is creamy, white vaginal discharge normal? Today I noticed a very thick, creamy, white vaginal discharge in my undies when I went to the bathroom– it doesn't smell, but it's very abnormal for me. It wasn't a stretchy clear like usual. I've had a little vaginal itching, but not too extreme– and not more than the usual “I need a shower” kind of itch. I just started a new birth control pill a few days ago, so I’m wondering if it's related to that. Or possibly I’m allergic to the new body wash I started using… Would either of those be the cause of such discharge, or should I go see a doctor?

Vaginal Discharge / sexual arousal? I’m having trouble finding answers to this inquiry so I've resulted to Yahoo Answers. Please excuse the very graphic nature. I do appreciate mature, medically sound answers with references, if possible. I’ve been experiencing milky-white discharge that seems to increase when I become sexually aroused. Usually there is the usual “wetness” but lately it's been filmy and white. There is no itch, no pain, no burn, no odor, absolutely zero signs of infection, STD or allergy. It's not so much a burden as it’s a bother. It doesn't affect my sex life as far as the feelings and sensations, it just looks a bit gross to me (my boyfriend hasn't complained to my face about it). Is this normal? What could be causing this? I'm in a serious monogamous relationship so I don't use condoms when I’ve intercourse. Just in case this plays a factor in it, I also don't experience this discharge during my menstrual cycle. Thanks in advance for the help!

Discharge can be different on different days. There is nothing to worry about here, and there is clearly nothing medically wrong with you. It could be a different discharge produced by your body during sexual arousal to help with sex. Lubrication and all that. If it doesn't smell, there isn't any itching, burn, pain, etc then you have absolutely nothing to worry about.

Endometrial tissues. Once you start puberty a white and/or clear discharge is normal. The vagina is self-cleaning. This same discharge increases the closer you get to ovulation and when you’re sexually aroused. You can have this normal discharge for weeks, months or even years before getting your first period. It’ll also continue after you get your period. Sometimes you can have few times brown discharge before your first period. Your first period can look like this also.
