And based on your sister's experience and what u've told here about her symptoms, I suggest she visit a Doctor. Don't be ashamed to tell also your parents about it. It could might only mean that u might have a UTI or Urinary Tract Infection that’s most commonly affecting us(women or young girls like u) due to bacterias, or wrong perineal/genital hygiene practice. Or maybe STD because she's having pain during sex. Go to the doctor u know or your family knows and get medicated as early as now. The doctors will request you an Urine test to see the infection. The discharge with odor might be PUS. After seeing your urine test the doctor will prescribe Antibiotics for your treatment and eventually just follow the doctors instructions and in the end you’ll be cured. Don't worry just trust me, I'm a nurse , well soon to be. Good luck.

“All the signs of herpes”? The biggest sign of herpes is the cluster of glossy, flesh colored, but reddish blisters and a “tingling” sensation that many people often feel. I would say you have NO signs of herpes. Probably a yeast infection like your doctor suggested. I would finish your course of Monistat and go from there.
