How to Get Rid of Foul Smelling Vaginal Discharge | Bacterial. Six days ago Has your vaginal smell changed recently? Are you experiencing an odd smell which is different from your usual vaginal odor?

Don't use creams and stuff. All people have their own unique musky scent and your own scent will smell stronger to you than to others. Some girls do produce more discharge than others. You can wear a pantyliner if it bothers you. The amount and consistency can vary due to hormones, diet, water intake, exercise, illness and medication. Your normal white/clear discharge will turn yellow or dry yellow when exposed to air. If it’s coming out yellow, then you probably have a bacterial infection and need to see a doctor. Different Types of Discharge: White: Thick, white discharge is common at the beginning and end of your cycle. Normal white discharge is not accompanied by itching. If itching is present, thick white discharge can indicate a yeast infection. Clear and stretchy: This is “fertile” mucous and means you’re ovulating. Clear and watery: This occurs at different times of your cycle and can be particularly heavy after exercising. Yellow or Green: May indicate an infection, especially if thick or clumpy like cottage cheese or has a foul odor. Spotting Blood/Brown Discharge: May happen right after periods, and is just “cleaning out” your vagina. Old blood looks brown. This may occur when you’re ovulating/mid-cycle. Different types of infections, which a girl can get at any time: Signs of yeast infections: White, cottage cheese-like discharge Swelling and pain around the vulva Intense itching Buy Monistat 7 over-the-counter Signs of bacterial vaginosis: A white, gray or yellowish vaginal discharge A fishy odor that’s strongest after sex or after washing with soap Itching or burning Slight redness and swelling of the vagina or vulva See a doctor

I find it a little acidic at certain times throughout the month and what you eat. It changes throughout your cycle. Normal. The sweet scent of a woman. Nothing better.

You could try dipping a tampon into plain, all natural yogurt with live cultures, as this can help to both re-acidify the vagina and to balance the normal flora (bacteria) in it. It can't hurt you, and can only help you. It's a traditional remedy that many women use if and when they're suffering from vaginal yeast infections. If the smell continues, get yourself to the gyno, as on going “bad odors” can be a symptom of bacterial vaginosis (BV). It may also be that you're just very sensitive to your own natural smell. And regarding the above poster's comment about “Use premarin.”? It's complete BS and utterly stupid and cruel. Premarin is a synthetic estrogen, synthesized from the urine of pregnant horses. They’re forced to stand in a very small stall the entire time they’re pregnant and are catheterized to collect the urine. You try being catheterized for the entire 9 months you're pregnant, nevermind being forced to stand up and not move around the entire time. It’s the VERY antithesis of cruelty-free, and I would NEVER use it, even if my life depended upon it. (There are other options besides.) Not only that, but there are multiple, potentially deadly side effects to using a hormone such as this, including death, blood clots in your legs (DVT), pulmonary embolisms, and many, many others. Dreda Lace is an idiot to say something like this! Don’t listen.

If it’s a yeast infection you can buy treatments from the Pharmacy for it or you can use plain yoghurt to stop the irritation. My daughter at the age of one would get it and i had taken her to the doctor to find out what it was and he had said not to use soaps etc as it can make it worse but to use yoghurt or Canisten cream, which is an antifungal cream.

lindroll619

It smells sometime like that, but reg color I’ve no idea…

fangregg754

It could be a yeast infection but if not you should try the following immediately after sexual intercourse go to the bathroom and urinate push if you have to and then take a bath and then a quick shower I hope that helps

Honestly there isn't anything you can do about the smell. I know it's horrible but the facts. Douching is a no no. It's coming from INSIDE and you can't put anything in there without risk of infection so…It goes away after you give birth AND it may get better as your pregnancy progresses.
